The Golf Bay is Discovery Bay and Lantau Islands' new Virtual Indoor Golf Simulator.
It started by Discovery Bay resident Christoph Bauchinger, a keen golfer who grew frustrated with the limited and restricted opportunities to play or practice golf and having to carry his golf clubs as far as Sai Kung to get a round in.
The Golf Bay provides access and opportunities to keen golfers in the community to play, practice, and improve their golf game close to home without paying thousands of dollars in membership fees.
Situated on the 1/F of the North Plaza, The Golf Bay consists of two bays (left and right-handed) equipped with state-of-the-art cameras and technology powered by Foresight Sports.
These state-of-the-art cameras and technology are great teaching tools for beginners and experienced golfers.
It provides instant feedback and information such as your efficiency, club speed, ball speed, angle of contact, and distance.
The Golf Bay will be setting up a teaching program. Instructors will be familiar with the Foresight Sports technology and, by using the technology, will be able to provide information and coaching tip that can take your swing to the next level
The Golf Bay works on a pay as you go, and golfers can rent each Bay for 1 hour or sign up for any of the 10 hours or 20-hour packages.
Each Bay has a driving range, 9 - hole and 18-hole modes.
