Fitness Mums

As soon as the alarm clock goes, mums are up and on the go.

From getting breakfast ready, packing lunches, and ensuring daily activities are all planned for the day.

This takes place before mums can start their day. Mums give so much of themselves so important that they have some me time.

There is no better way to spend that time than by being active.

DB Resident Cindy related well to this. Being a mother, she started Mumfit and Kid's fitness.

Cindy is an accomplished Muay Thai fighter with an impressive resume.

Taking up the sport at the age of 32, she quickly rose through the ranks and became the Hong Kong Muay Thai champion at the age of 35.

Her fitness classes focus on fusing her passion for Muay Thai fighting and Fitness

Muay Thai can be a highly complex fighting style and teaches mums the basics of the sport while working on developing their strength and endurance.

Training sessions are tailor-made according to mum's fitness levels.

For Cindy, her classes focus on more than just fitness.

It allows mums to connect, build confidence, share experiences, develop friendships and grow together.

Over the summer, Cindy ran a summer camp at Po Leung Kuk.

Po Leung Kuk is based in Causeway Bay and has a special place in Cindy's heart.

Having worked during her studies, Po Leung Kuk offers children from the ages of 6-15, from troubled backgrounds a safe place.

For Cindy, it allowed her to teach, provide opportunities, give back, and positively impact the lives of young children.

Cindy offers group classes, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 - 10:30, and Personal Training.

Training sessions take place at Chianti or Central Park close to Discovery College.

To all the mums looking to get fit and connect with mums in DB, you can find Cindy on Facebook, Mumfit, and Kids, or check out Sport Blits Instagram post for more information.

Remember, no matter how much time you have, any minute of exercise is better than no exercise.
