Muay Thai boxing is a combat sport that focuses on striking and clinching techniques.


Known as the "art of the eight limbs" fighters use their fist, elbows, knees, and shins to strike their opponents with speed and power.


Muay Thai Boxing has grown in popularity over the years. It is seen by many as an excellent way to get fit, burn fat, tone muscles, and improve concentration, focus, flexibility, and hand-to-eye coordination.


With the help of DB Resident Mo, Family Muay Thai has grown in popularity in Discovery Bay and has kept our DB Residents fighting fit.


Training sessions led by experienced Muay Thai brothers, Cheaw and Apirak.


From humble beginnings in Thailand, the brothers took up Muay Thai to support and make their family proud.


With years of experience between them, they have fought and trained in Canada, Australia, Europe, Hong Kong, and Thailand.


They are passionate about Muay Thai and aim to teach fighters of all levels, beginners, and professionals an authentic style in a family atmosphere.


Having attended a few sessions myself over the last few months, I must say if you are thinking of giving Muay Thai a try, be prepared to get your sweat on.


Training sessions take place Monday to Sunday near North Plaza Beach.


Each training session is never the same, and you will be challenged physically and mentally while learning the correct technique and combinations.


Muay Thai is a great activity to add to your fitness routine. It will surely improve fitness while keeping you alert and focused.
