DBDB Country of Origin is touch rugby tournament that gives buddy sports stars in our community the opportunity to represent their country.
Touch Rugby is a fast, simple game that promotes the fundamental skills of rugby while developing basic principles of attack and defense.
Organized by Discovery Bay resident Andrew Tasker the DBDB Country of Origin tournament has a great way of bringing our international community together and showcase its sporting spirit.
In May, South Africa, Japan, New Zealand, and Portugal went head to head ìn the first DBDB Country of Origin tournament.
With many family and friends cheering the teams on, the games were highly competitive, fast, skilled, and intense, with South Africa coming out on top, beating a strong Japan team in a close-fought final.
On 24 July, South Africa will defend its DBDB Country of Origin title with all teams looking to knock them off.
