When offering feedback, it's important to frame it in a way that focuses on areas of improvement without dismissing their confidence. When identifying areas of improvement, it's essential not to be too critical, and it's vital to have suggestions on ways to improve.
Confidence is built on athletes understanding their strengths and what they are capable of. Teach and encourage your child to SELF-REFLECT on their performances, not just in terms of results but personal growth.
